Our blades are made of T10 high carbon steel. In sword making, the hamon is the visual effect of clay tempering. The principle behind clay tempering is to achieve both hardness and flexibility, which equals strength. A harder steel will sharpen better than softer, retain its sharpness longer, so that's why our blade can resist denting. The flexible spine allows the blade to resist greater impact, without breaking.
