Pocket Trauma Kit

Also known as the original, Patrol Officer Pocket Trauma Kit, this IFAK has a relevant back story, but is by no means limited to Law Enforcement. This is a thoughtfully designed IFAK that is great for anyone who wants to be prepared with tools to stop major bleeding. The story began while attending the Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) Conference in San Marcos, TX. We visited with a number of different department members who stated they were keenly aware of the need for all officers to have some sort of Self Aid / Buddy Aid kit when entering the hot zone. However, current department cutbacks (at the time) made it cost prohibitive to look at even the most basic trauma kits that Rescue Essentials offers for individual patrol officers. After three rounds of modifications based on input from NTOA members who tested the kit, we offered the Patrol Officer Pocket Trauma Kit (POPTK), or for everyone, the Pocket Trauma Kit
