The surface is sanded to an ULTRA-smooth, highly absorbent finish so your paint colors remain true and brilliant. The unique clay surface allows for unlimited techniques – etching, erasing, reworking, adding color and scratching it away to add contrast, texture, and fine details. Claybord is perfect for many fine art uses including pigmented and alcohol inks, gouache, egg tempera, acrylic, airbrush, graphite, pencil, pen, watercolor, casein, collage, scratch board and mixed media. Your final artwork on Claybord can even be sealed and displayed without glass.
