About Us
Charles E. Barton and Henry G. Reed first started working together as craftsmen at a small silversmith manufacturing company. They improved their craft in the company while moving up the ranks. In 1824, the men became presidents and re-named the company as Reed & Barton; creating the brand we know today. They brought along their respect for craftsmanship and quality throughout their career. These values are still the cornerstones of Reed & Barton. For about 200 years, Reed & Barton has built a reputation as one of the country’s top makers of high-quality giftware and tableware. Our unique products are in demand for their superior craftsmanship and enduring designs. In addition to barware and flatware, we manufacture a wide range of unique giftware, such as children’s gifts, picture frames, crystal and metal serving pieces, hardwood chests and Christmas ornaments.
