The Dreams Box takes a closer look at the journeys we take while we sleep and offers guidance on how to understand your personal dream experiences. The first chapter looks at the ways in which dreams have been interpreted by different cultures over the centuries and considers how ancient people may have used dreams to shape their lives. It also introduces the theories of twenty-first-century psychologists Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung and goes on to examine the impact their works have had on modern-day dream interpretations.

Taking a more scientific view of what happens when we turn out the lights at night, the second chapter offers an overview of our sleep cycles and the influence they can have on our dreams.
