  1. What devices does the CleverDrive work with? The CleverDrive works with a lot of devices! In short, it's compatible with all iPhones, all Samsung Galaxy & Note Devices 6 and ABOVE, PC Windows and Mac, Amazon devices, Google Pixel and more. You can even use it to move photos from your phone to your car or Smart refrigerator, or the Photo Center at your local Walmart or Walgreens.
  2. What types of connectors does it have? It has the Type-C for more recent Samsung, Android and Mac devices, the Standard Type A 3.0 USB which fits into most computers and laptops, and the 2-in-1 iPhone and Micro compatible Connector, which is used for iPhone/iPad, and Android devices, respectively. This is an “on-the-go” 4-in-1 device, meaning you don’t need any adapters to utilize.
  3. How do I use the iPhone Connector vs. the Micro Connector? The connector for iPhone and iPad can be utilized by opening the Standard Type-A USB, and with the Logo side up, inserting the connector into your device. The Micro Connector is used by inserting the NON-Logo side into your device. For clarity, each side of the 2-in-1 has different compatibility. You must use the correct side to utilize with iPhone/iPad, vs. Android. Important Note: The new iPhone 15 makes use of the Type-C connector. Please watch the videos on this listing!
  4. Does the CleverDrive use an App? Yes, for iPhone and iPad devices only that use the iPhone connector. Simply insert the device and a notification should prompt you to download the app. If not, search for Y-Disk in the App Store. Check out our online Quick Start Guide referenced on the packaging to learn how to best use the CleverDrive!
