Product Care Instructions

Machine wash on wool/gentle cycle or hand wash in warm water. Use mild liquid detergent only containing no bleach or enzymes, or a detergent made for laundering genuine sheepskin. We recommend Outback Gold Wool Wash. Maximum water temperature 104F. Spin on gentle cycle to remove excess water. Drying: Do not tumble dry. Stretch rug to shape while drying. Dry away from sunlight and direct heat. Do not iron. Can also be dry cleaned. Minor soiling can be sponged off with a damp cloth.

Sourced from accredited farms where sheep are well cared for and raised in the wide open, grassy pastures by farmers that adhere to the ethical treatment of animals set by the Animal Welfare Act. These regulations ensure that animals have sufficient food and water; adequate shelter; the opportunity to display normal patterns of behavior; appropriate physical handling; protection from and rapid diagnosis of injury and disease. Farmers must meet an animal’s physical, health, and behavioral needs, and must alleviate pain or distress. The pelts are processed according to the strictest quality and safety standards in the industry.
