When using 1TX to 1RX, it allows 2 monitors via HDMI&SDI cable and 2 mobile devices APP monitoring. When using 1TX without RX, it allows 4 APP monitoring. You can also pair another Mars 4K RX to the system, and wire them to 4 monitors for the director/producer/sponsor to view the shooting on set.

Mars 4K supports wireless transmission to RXs/iOS/Android phone/tablet devices.

[0 RX - 4 Apps；1 RX - 2 Apps；2 RXs - 0 App]

When using 1TX to 1RX, it allows 2 monitors via HDMI & SDI cable and 2 mobile devices APP monitoring.

When using 1TX without RX, it allows 4 APP monitoring. You can also pair another Mars 4K RX to the system, and wire them to 4 monitors for the director/producer/sponsor to view the shooting on set.

Can the Mars 4K system Pair with Mars 400S Pro?

Mars 4K system can only pair with Mars M1 wireless video monitor. When Mars 4K pair with the Mars M1 monitor, the monitor can achieve monitoring function and can be use as a single trnasmitter or single receiver. [0 RX-4APPs; 1 RX-2APPs; 2 RX-0APP]

Can the 1 Mars 4K Single Transmitter Pair with 1 Mars M1 wireless Monitor?

When 1 4K single transmitter pair with 1 Mars M1 wireless Monitor, the M1 monitor becomes a RX, it follows the monitoring patterns as below: [0 RX-4APP; 1 RX-2APP; 2 RX-0APP]

1 4K TX to 0 M1- 4 APPs;

1 4K TX to 1 M1- 2 APPs;

1 4K TX to 2 M1- 0 APP.

Can the 1 Mars 4K Single Receiver Pair with 1 Mars M1 wireless Monitor?

When 1 Mars 4K single receiver pair with 1 Mars M1 wireless Monitor, the Mars M1 Monitor becomes a 4K transmitter:

1 M1 to 0 4K RX- 4 APPs;

1 M1 to 1 4K RX- 2 APPs;

1 M1 to 2 4K RX- 0 APP.

How to transmit 4K video?

Hollyland Mars 4K supports 3840x2160 pixel 4K resolution. (4096x2160 pixel is not supported.)

It support Input/Output 3840x2160@24/25/30fps resolution via HDMI port, and FHD/HD formats like 1080p/720p via HDMI/SDI.

Why does the camera record in 4K the screen will turn black?

Some cameras such as SONY A7M3, the camera screen will be off during the recording of 4K, because the camera only has one video output channel when recording 4K, so when output 4K from HDMI the camera screen will be off.
