This flagellate culture contains a multicellular colony differentiated into somatic or reproductive cells that represent a distinct labor division and may represent a transition linking unicellular animals and the metozoa. Daughter colonies are released when culture is mature. Each culture contains enough material for a class of 30 students. Optimal medium: Alga-Gro Freshwater (item #153752) or Soil-Water (item #153785). Optimum growth temperature: 22 C. Please state the expected use date and allow sufficient time for proper handling. A free dropping pipet is included with each culture.
