What should I look for in a stethoscope?

Comfortable and Secure Fit. If you can’t get sound past the eartip to your tympanic membrane, all other features are unimportant. Our range of comfort sealing eartips, adjustable binurals and three-leaf spring* help you custom fit the scope to the shape of your head and ear canal, and lessen the force applied to your ears. The more custom the fit, the easier the sounds travel to your ear.

Welch Allyn Harvey DLX Double-head Cardiology Stethoscopes

The double-head Harvey DLX Stethoscope is specifically designed to accentuate important patterns and to enable you to hear cardiac, pulmonary and vascular nuances without relying on difficult “variable pressure” techniques. The bell allows you to hear low-frequency sounds while high-frequency sounds can be heard with the flat and corrugated (tunable) diaphragms. The Harvey DLX features dual-lumen tubing that creates two uninterrupted sound channels and works with the optimally weighted brass chest pieces to transmit a full range of physical sounds.

The Harvey Elite offers updated styling along with the superior comfort and auscultation capabilities cardiologists have come to rely on.
