For instance, if you can read the letters on every line from 20/20 and upwards, your prescription is 0D, indicating good vision. However, if you can only read the letters from 20/40 and upwards, your prescription may be -1.00D, suggesting a need for correction. Please note that this may not represent precise results. Additionally, in the case of children under 5 years old, as their eyes are still in the process of development, 3-4-year-old children may typically only be able to read the 20/40 or 20/50 lines.
