This is a rare advertising handbill (flyer) promoting the 1983 West End revival of the LIONEL BART musical "OLIVER!" at the Aldwych Theatre in London. (The revival opened December 14th, 1983 for a limited five week engagement.) ..... The musical starred RON MOODY (who created the role of "Fagin" in 1960) and featured PETER BAYLISS, MEG JOHNSON, LINAL HAFT, GEOFFREY TOONE and JACKIE MARKS ..... Side Note: Following the five week engagement in London, the production opened at New York's Mark Hellinger Theatre on April 29th, 1984, but survived for only 17 performances. RON MOODY once again starred, but was joined by PATTI LuPONE in the role of "Nancy".
