Corriedale wool is a favorite around the world for its softness and strength. It is great for needle felting, wet felting, and spinning. The Corriedale sheep is a cross between the Merino and Lincoln breeds. This special cross produces a thick, strong wool fiber that is also very soft.
NOTE: All of the wool on this listing are 100% natural, un-dyed Corriedale wool. They work well for all kinds of felting or spinning.
These beautiful wool rovings are sourced from sheep farms in South America. After shearing, the raw fiber is sorted for color, then cleaned, carded, and combed at wool mills in the USA (the Ecru) and Uruguay (the Sand, Mocha, and Dark). We work closely with these mills to produce the highest quality wool for fiber artists.
Corriedale wool is a favorite of hand spinners for its softness, strength, and elasticity. The natural colors spin into a gorgeous yarn, and the natural white Ecru color takes dye very well. Or skip the dye and use the natural colors of Sand, Mocha, or Dark Chocolate.
For use as core wool or top coat, our clean, soft Corriedale wool roving is the perfect base for all your 3D creations.
The best dryer balls are made from pure, raw wool. Using the natural colors of our un-dyed, Corriedale wool means you can create beautiful dryer balls without any dyes.
Wet felting is a creative way to make fabric, hats, slippers, and so much more. Our clean, soft Corriedale is a strong fiber that is excellent for wet felting.
