Gather Materials:
- Beeswax pellets
- Candle wick and Candle mold
- Pot and heat source
- Fragrance or dye (optional)
Steps:
1. Measure Beeswax: Measure an appropriate amount of beeswax based on the number of candles you plan to make. Use a kitchen scale for accuracy.
2. Prepare Candle Wick: Cut the candle wick to the desired length, making sure it's a bit taller than the candle mold.
3. Prepare Mold: Arrange the candle wick in the candle mold. You can use simple tools like pens or clips to keep the wick centered and vertical.
4. Melt Beeswax: Place the beeswax in the pot and heat it until it melts. Be careful not to overheat the beeswax; it's best to use a gentle heat source.
5. Scent and Color (Optional): If you want your candles to have a special fragrance or color, add fragrance or dye to the melted beeswax. Stir thoroughly.
6. Pour Wax Liquid: Slowly pour the melted beeswax into the mold, ensuring the candle wick stays centered.
7. Cooling: Allow the wax liquid to cool and solidify. This may take some time, depending on the size of the candle and the room temperature.
8. Trim Candle: If the candle surface is uneven, use scissors to trim the top of the candle.
9. Remove from Mold: After the candle has fully cooled, carefully remove it from the mold.
