Kauf Dich Glücklich (16) It's time for a little waffle break. Just a few steps further along the street you'll find Kauf Dich Glücklich, meaning ‘Shop Yourself Happy’. As the name suggests, this store has more to offer than its delicious waffles, which you can enjoy from the old GDR ice cream- parlour seats outside or the vintage lounge chairs inside. The store sells a selection of fashion items and home accessories displayed on simple shelves made of untreated wood. While this creates an air of charming improvisation, Kauf Dich Glücklich is in fact a successful small chain with thirteen German stores.
