All of our "Dreaming of..." books teach kids about different subject matters, from dinosaurs to outer space. The regional books include information on prehistoric animals, as well as Native Americans and early American explorers. Each book has a "Did You Know?" section at the end with more information on the animals, people, and places depicted in the story.

Stunning Illustrations

Illustrator Stephanie Lowman spent countless hours drawing animals, people, and the occasional space alien line-by-line.

Photographer Grant Collier spent many months capturing the images for each book. He then carefully blended Stephanie’s artwork into his images to create colorful, life-like depictions of the scenes.

Riveting Text

Each book recounts an exciting adventure about an animal or kid who travels across time or space. They visit many exotic locations until finally finding their way back home. Most books feature rhyming prose to help kids remember the text and learn new words.

Each book also teaches the importance of getting to sleep on time.

Small Publisher

Grant Collier established Collier Publishing in Colorado in 2004, and it has been steadily growing ever since. Instead of producing the largest number of books, our goal is to produce only the highest-quality books that provide the most value to our customers.
