Pumping range from 7 inches to 36 inches. This switch comes with a 15-foot cord and piggyback plug. Maximum 13 running Amps; 0.5 HP.

Little Giant RFSN Series Switches

Converts manual pumps to automatic operation

The Little Giant RFSN pump switches offer easy conversion from manual to automatic operation. These switches will work in clear water, grey water (effluent applications) or black water (sewage applications).

Switches can be attached to the pump itself or to the piping.

Switch on/off ranges can be adjusted easily depending on where the tether is attached to the pump or piping.

Each switch includes a standard mounting clamp and features heavy-duty contacts.

Pump Down Switch (Normally Open)

As the water level rises, the float will also rise. When the water gets to a certain height, the contacts will CLOSE and the pump will turn ON.

As the water level lowers, the float will also lower. When the float is hanging down, the contact will OPEN and the pump will turn OFF.

What is a Piggy-Back Switch?

The PIGGY-BACK plug design enables the pump to be used as either an AUTOMATIC PUMP or a MANUAL PUMP. To have the pump start/stop automatically, plug the pump into the switch's piggy-back plug and plug both plugs into the wall outlet (see automatic illustration). To switch to manual mode, just unplug the pump from the switch plug and plug the pump directly into a wall outlet (see manual illustration).

Manual mode allows you to run the pump immediately regardless of how high the water level is. This is used primarily for emergency water removal or for testing the switch operation.
