EASILY CONNECT HANDRAILS TO STAIRCASE FITTINGS – Attaching handrails to balusters, spindles, newel posts, and other staircase fittings is no longer a hassle. The patented UT gear-driven mechanism speeds up handrail to newel post installation by eliminating the tedious steps of conventional techniques. The railbolt's open channel allows the housing to be dropped directly onto the shaft, eliminating the need for cumbersome nuts and washers.
FAST INSTALLATION – Perfect for quickly connecting stairway post joints. Install the screw shaft in the rail using a wrench or optional Zipbolt 40.520 7mm deep socket, place the housing gear inside the railing and tighten with the included 5mm hex bit using a screwdriver or cordless drill. NOTE: Impact drivers should not be used when tightening the gear housing.
A COMPLETE PACKAGE – The package includes everything you need to attach a handrail to various stairway fittings. It contains 2 rail bolts, 2 red oak wood plugs, and 1 hex bit (5mm). Use the instructions on the packaging to guide yourself through the installation process.

Zipbolt's UT Railbolt is the fastest and easiest way to join various sections of your staircase handrail together, while maintaining the strength of traditional old style rail bolts.

Gone are the days of trying to start a nut in a restrictive location, which is further compounded by having to tighten it afterwards. The Zipbolt UT Railbolt's gear-driven system provides unbeatable speed when joining staircase components together.

The gear housing's open channel allows for it to simply drop over the bolt's shaft. After tightening with the included 5mm hex bit, you are left with a strong connection that was joined in a fraction of the time it takes to connect staircase components using standard rail bolts.


Step 1 - Install After prep work, install screw shaft with a wrench or optional Zipbolt Deep Socket Tool (see Zipbolt 40.520 7mm Deep Socket Tool).	Step 2 - Connect Insert Zipbolt UT gear drive die-cast housing into opening and over threads.	Step 3 - Tighten Tighten the housing over the threads with the supplied hex bit using a cordless screwdriver. NOTE: Do not use impact driver to tighten gear housing.
