The RAB Lighting ALED3T150 is a specification grade area light in IES Type III distribution. The Type III is ideal for roadway, general parking and other area lighting applications where a larger pool of lighting is required. It is intended to be located near the side of the area, allowing the light to project outward and fill the area. The fixture replaces up to 400W metal halide lights and provides an energy cost savings of 66% energy costs. The LED has a 100,000-hour LED lifespan based on IES LM-80 results and TM-21 calculations as well as a warranty that their LED products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, including coverage of light output, color stability, driver performance and fixture finish. The bronze finish is made of an environmentally friendly polyester powder coating which is formulated for high-durability and long-lasting color, and contains no VOC or toxic heavy metals. The fixture contains no photocell, a lumen output of 12526 lumens, and a cool color temperature of 5000K.
