Q: I'm traveling to Israel. Do I need to purchase a converter or does this work as both an adapter and converter?
A: This does not support voltage conversion. Not all appliances need a converter. Check the voltage range on the appliance. I understand that Israel is 220-240v, so if it falls within that range or you have dual voltage, you would only need the adapter.
Q: How many devices can be plugged in at the same time?
A: You can use both AC outlets and both USB outlets all at the same time as long as you don't exceed the rating for each outlet.
Q: What is difference in converter and adapter?
A: Converter will change the voltage either up/down but adapter doesn't. Adapter just changes what first into the wall. Say you're in italy and it's 3 prong 220 and uganda it's 4 prong 220. In other words, if you put 220V in, you're going to get 220v out.
Q: Will it work for Laptop?
A: Yes, and cell phones or any other item that has dual voltage regulator built into it already.
Q: Can this be used in Milan, Italy? And can I use a hairdryer and hair iron with this adapter?
A: Please make sure your hair dryer and hair ron are dual voltage 110v-240v, otherwise 110V single voltage hair dryer or iron wouldn't work in 230V countries.
