Q1: Why can our cable carry a maximum of 600W power?
A1: Our cable uses Hi-Conductivity Copper Terminals, which can carry current up to 10-12A. 16AWG copper wire can also carry 12A current. Theoretically, there are 3 power supply circuits within an 8pin. 10A*12V*3=360W, that means, a single 8pin can carry a maximum of 360W power. The amount of power output depends on the capacity of the power supply. In theory, a single 8pin port of the power supply can output about 300W.
Q2: Will it affect use when the cable has one empty pin?
A2: No, it does not affect use because the one empty is connected to the GND wire with the function of overcurrent protection.
