Note: Vehicle's Alternator No charge(Dash,Tell-Tale/Idiot) Light will not function when using this one wire alternator. If Vehicle has a Voltmeter ,It will Function as usual.

This is a 3G Alternator modified to Single-wire hookup Upgraded Alternator with internal self exciting voltage regulator(No external Regulator required) simplifying your wiring.
Wiring is simple because of the self-exciting regulator that uses only a 1-wire hookup.You will need only your main charging wire connected to the battery.(Must be 4 Gauge or larger) with no other wires needed!  

This alternator is perfect for small and big block Ford engines,It fits almost all Ford engines with straight mounting bracket setup from the years 1965-1993 and many of the later model engines also.
 Works great for muscle cars or street rods with Billet aluminum pulley.

The mounting holes on this 3G is in the exact same location as Older 1G and 2G models.
However, on some models, the top mounting hole is not threaded. It is necessary to use a nut, bolt and two washers(Not included) at the top mounting location.
There can also be a slight clearance problem requiring modification of the alternator bracket, it may be necessary to trim a triangular section of the bracket in order to make room for this larger 3G alternator.
 The modification is minor, easy to accomplish, and does not adversely affect the strength of the bracket.

This high performance High Output 200 Amp alternator will improve performance while adding Beauty to your engine compartment.

Full output is achieved when the engine is at over 1200 rpm.

Important Note:For safety and better Voltage and Output result,We recommend installing a fused 0 main charging wire to allow maximum current flow to your battery.
