Peach-leaved Bellflower (Campanula Persicifolia Blue)
A true garden classic, campanula are easy to grow from seed and contribute delightful displays to your home! Commonly known as peach-leaved bellflower, these plants put forth an abundance of cup-shaped flowers atop stems that can reach up to 40 inches in height. Although much of the length of the stems are laden with blooms, they are also adorned with narrow leaves that resemble those of a peach tree (hence the name).
Bellflowers serve well in landscapes, borders, and flower beds. They look the most impressive when planted in groups, so distribute freely! It is beneficial for the plants to be deadheaded regularly: this promotes further and more abundant flowering. This also assists with preventing self-sowing, but you can leave the spent blooms if you prefer to let the plants spread freely.
