Charming delicate flowers in colors lilac, blue, and white that grow 14-17 inches tall. The plant is perennial, winter hardy, and easy to grow. It forms flowers in the 2nd year after planting.
Sow directly outdoors in the fall for germination in the spring or sow in the spring after the last frost. Sprinkle the seeds in the garden bed and keep the area watered. Expect only leaves in the 1st year. Indoors sow the seeds 6-8 weeks before the last frost in a tray filled with potting soil. Sprinkle a light covering of vermiculite over the seeds. Mist lightly with water and keep the room temperature at 65 to 70°F. After germination put the tray on a sunny window and keep the soil evenly moist. Start hardening off the seedlings in mid-spring before transplanting after the last frost.
