From small lavatory seat factory to innovative market leader

In 1912, our successful family business started with the production of wooden toilet seats. In 1952, we introduced the first plastic toilet seats to the market. Thirty years later, we also produced toilet seats made of Duroplast, a high-quality material that is scratch-resistant, easy to clean and hygienic. In 2001, we set a new benchmark for increased toilet comfort with the development of our patented SlowClose toilet seat with automatic closing system. Combined with our other comfort feature TakeOff, our toilet seats really become synonymous with ease of use and easy cleaning.

Thanks to our patented SlowClose Original automatic closing system toilet seat, all that is a thing of the past. The practical SlowClose solution allows the toilet lid to be closed silently and comfortably while protecting the material with just a finger tip – slowly, smoothly and evenly.	TAKE-OFF / QUICK RELEASE It has never been so easy to keep the toilet, including the toilet seat, clean. Thanks to our practical TakeOff feature, you can easily remove the toilet lid including the toilet seat, and then put it back on again, just as quickly – in just one movement and without any tools.
