Makes interior surfaces glisten and sparkle, giving your walls a contemporary look
Surface Preparation:
All surfaces must be clean and free of dust, dirt, oils, and grease. Make sure the surface is sound and free of loose and flaking paint. Priming the substrate with a tinted primer or a flat paint is highly recommended, and do not paint over shiny, smooth surfaces, such as plastic or gloss paints, unless prepared with the right primer.
Application Methods:
Crystal Brush Glitter Paint should be applied with a high-quality brush. Apply two coats in a cross-hatch pattern to produce an organic look and variation of a glittery, metallic effect. To make the application process easier, Crystal Brush can be applied on the surface with a roller in small areas and then immediately back brushed for the effect. Additionally, a flogger brush can be used to soften the second coat while it is drying for a more elegant effect. Apply only during temperate conditions: 50° to 90°F and between 25% and 75% relative humidity. Crystal Brush can also be applied using an HVLP spray gun with a fine size 4 tip, if the material is too heavy, you may dilute it with water up to 10%.
Dry Times:
Recoat time is a minimum of 2-3 hours; dries to touch in 4 hours. Full cure can take up to 7 days, depending on conditions.
Cleanup:
Clean brushes, rollers, tools, and equipment with warm, soapy water immediately after use.
Coverage:
Crystal Brush Glitter Paint will cover approximately 25 to 40 sq. ft per gallon with 2 coats depending on surface texture, porosity, method, and concentration of application.
